thank you, deanna!

finally found scrim not at the close-by Hancock's
(that was one of the places i visited the other day and had no luck),
but at the one across town, they had it, and half price!
so i bought enough to last me a good while.
unless i get scrim-happy.
also found some perle cotton, milliner's needles and cotton tape!
thank you for the tip, dear Deanna!

  1. Ooooooo. I need pearl cotton too! Almost out from lace fun in the forest.... . Checked Wally world cause they have restocked fibers they have some decent Indian but the spool is gigantoid. I'll call my D'ham Hancocks. I know they call it Hancocks but Jeeeze! That's hard to write and say with out skinning my knees in the gutter.

    1. oh Deanna i'm so glad the spindling class is working for you so far!! please let me know if there's anything at all i can do to help or clarify things. did you get the spindling kit through craftsy or a different one?

    2. the kit was sold out and even at woolery, the only kits they had were with the top whorl so i just ordered their bottom whorl spindle. i have plenty of roving in the house.
